Bought this hat and sunglasses when he was about 8 months. Took another 14 months before he would keep the glasses on. As long as our sunglasses are on, he keeps his on. When we shift ours up on our heads, he puts his up as well. Monkey see, monkey do.

I know, in my mind’s eye he already had cataracts and damaged corneas but my problem was how do you get and keep shades on? Anyway problem is solved now. He loves his shades.

Cool Dude for sure 🙂 I think I’ve lost the battle forever with Connor – he will NOT wear a hat. We haven’t even tried shades because he already broke Tristan’s Baby Banz. So both mine have no eye protection. Maybe I must show them these pics 🙂 As you say – monkey see, monkey do – in our house this only works when we do something we shouldn’t 😉

Tee hee hee. Yup, the naughty things are repeated way quicker than the good things. When T sits in his car seat sometimes the sun hits him directly and he actually asks for his hat.
