Day 28 – What if you were pregnant or got someone pregnant, what would you do?

Being pregnant is not an option.

Before heart episode it was ” no more kids for us” — until we change our minds.

Now it’s not negotiable — my cardio will have a cardiac event if I had to be preggers.

As for getting someone pregnant – YIKES! A dodgy heart would be the least of my problems!

Oh Shell, it sounds like you are really at peace with the situation though which is great. I’m still trying to accept the fact that I may not be “allowed” to have another child.

Um ja. Getting someone pregnant would be a real shocker for me too!And if I found out I was pregnant? It would have to be the fault of a urologist having botched up hubby’s vasectomy. I think I would have a cardiac event, not to mention hubby!

Hmm, if I fell pregnant I would be rather surprised. And I think Mr P would be less than pleased. But well, we would accept the gift.

Because I now have an auto-immune disease due to my previous pregnancy, and even without that it would have been another high risk pregnancy because of my pregnancy with Soph. But I have not been told definitely no, just wait and see if we can get you better first…Sounds like yours is a definite no?

Oh ok. I’m sure things will improve once your body has done a full recovery. Must say I only felt fully “recovered” from the pregnancy and birth when T was 2. Before that you just plod along.
